The splasher was doing this shit to alot of big pieces in NY last year, taking down pieces that had survived for years, and then justifying it with the most sanctimonious bullshit you ever will hear. these guys seem to be taking the same route, and in the process, just making peoples days a little more dull again. shame.

I'm all for graff being reclaimed by the streets, but this is a piece done years ago that everyone has a fondness for and if anything, the recent damage has highlighted how gutted people would be if it went for good.
I've no real problem with pieces being done over after a few days but this is a different special case i think.
