What you’ve got here is a brand using a banksy image in an unauthorised capacity to make their product more attractive - my issue isn’t that anything isn’t fake - it’s your terminology - no one has attempted to recreate and pass off a banksy product (a ltd edition print) so nothing is fake - I really can’t break this down for you anymore - here is a real product with an unauthorised use of a banksy painting - if I made you another one as in a copy of the Dirty Funker LP then that would be a fake for you to cry about - frankly I don’t care either way - what for some reason amuses me more than anything is the irrational anger these items provoke in you - and just to boil your piss further, whether you like it or not they’re highly desirable and collectible fake unauthorised or not - they’ll be over a grand each soon - I think they’re really cool and smart and actually give people a chance to have a nice something associated with banksy with a sweet little image - and I am sorry they upset you so - let’s learn to co exist with our differing views - the irony in all of this being who banksy is what he stands for and his views on following or bending rules - give less fucks

Not sure you will see these being sold. As much as Laz loves his Banksy tat, I don't think he has ever sold anything unofficial.

Oh OK, so you are saying because he made it while Banksy was working with him that it is original.  I hear you, not sure I would go so far as to say Banksy sanctioned that.  There is nothing stopping him fro making more and selling them for gnarly prices under the guise that he is Banksy's former gallerist, so it must be legit.  I don't trust Laz farther than I can throw him.  Just look how many printings he has done of the book in 3 years.  He is a profiteer and is defo profiting from the assumption that many folks have that he is sanctioned by Banksy, which I am fairly certain he is not. 

Terry Fuckwitt I totally understand your point. Totally. However, my point is simply this, these items were in no way intended to be sold, and were in no way ever "sanctioned,' as you say.

So yes, different from Brandalism where we know Banksy took them to court to stop them from stealing his Images.

However, perhaps not so different from WCP as we will never have any way of knowing whether banksy sanctions him as someone who sells affordable Banksy repros for the fans, or not.

All I am saying is Laz selling something is ZERO indication of provenance unless PC has certified it, and charging a lot of money for something without certification because you worked with someone half a decade ago, is not proof it is real, so I caution folks from promoting it as authentic because you simply don't know it is.

Hi all, 

I'm doing some clearing out and putting up this vinyl collection for sale, I bought them all from HMV on Oxford st when they were released (and none of them have been played). I know they are pretty contentious as they are not official banksy, but they seem to be going for a pretty decent price these days according to ebay. If no one bites here, i'll put them up there. If anyone wants more detailed photos showing any condition issues, corners etc. Just message me. They are in pretty good condition, with the artwork as bought, however some of the corners have a dent or two, and on one there is a light mark internally from the record being pressed against it. 

I'm not looking at splitting or selling individually, and would prefer delivery/meeting up in and around the London area (by myself) or collection from NW6 London.

- gold (metallic), silver (metallic), bronze and green [each a ltd. ed., numbered x/1000]
* each of the four sleeves has 'Laugh now but one day we'll be in charge' on one side and 'Keep it real' on the other (photo below shows the gold 'Laugh now..' side and the rest 'Keep it real'). All still have the HMV sticker which looks like it can be removed, but i've never tried.
