With the premium at 25% and VAT I think that's around £4,140.

There was another Festival A/P on ebay recently and that failed to attract any bids at £4,000 as far as I can recall. At £4,140 plus postage and packing IMO it's about right

In the right auction (no offence to L&T in Scotland btw) it would have done a bit better. A lot of potential buyers were down South and being able to see the print and COA in person would have raised interest.

On the day I think there was one bidder in the room at £3k and it sold to the next bidder on the phone at £3.2K. I was on one of the phones but decided against bidding in the end.

£13k for US GR with no COA - madness ! 

Lyon and Turnball sent round an email saying they were underwriting the authenticity so that obviously gave people the confidence to bid it up.

Thinking when it comes to authenticity they would probably have to refund any buyer if it turned out to be fake as a matter of law. Saying that I wouldn’t want to have to pursue that type of claim as they would probably try and wriggle out of it and you could spend years resolving, plus the wait for the PC decision.

Seems utterly crazy to me. Happy, because I have a few bits out of this list, but surely this can't be sustainable?

People have been paying these kind of prices at auction for tat for a while now

Calm down, hardly insane. Probably what they should be going for. The boxsets are fantastic value for what they are.

With all the high auction prices as of late of all banksy prints

Cheapest unsigned Print will soon be £20k gbp all prints are and will be out of reach of the average banksy fan / collector

With people prepared to pay £1000+ for a poster that buyers know originally cost £5-£10 , monkey parliament posters selling at £3k +

If the hotel ceases sales of the box sets they will be easily £3k+

The guys that originally paid £3k-£7k when they first came out must feel a little better
