Dreweatts Art Auctions π¬π§, by Deleted on Oct 14, 2008 20:26:32 GMT 1, Lots of pieces with over the top reserves I think the bids are quite healthy but as you saw some of the reserves are just way over the top.
much too high. very unrealistic reserves for some.

Dreweatts Art Auctions π¬π§, by Harveyn on Oct 14, 2008 20:29:12 GMT 1, >>>If you are going to bid Β£140K why not bid Β£150K to get it? <<< 1. i can't believe it even got to 140 2. you are the high bidder and now get to work with the auciton house and negotiate with the seller (while hearing what anyone else is willing to do) and perhaps make a deal at 140+ fees. 3. i can't believe it got a bid of 140
Question
Would a possible scenario not be that at a reserve of Β£150k the reason the bidder did not go the extra Β£10k was that he was bidding the auction up?

so if you bid Β£1500 and win, what will the fees premium be and how much will you actually end up forking out?
