Neate 2am Blog, by reados on Aug 17, 2007 11:35:00 GMT 1, I defy anyone who goes to this exhibition not to come away a huge neate fan. Not surprised you have been converted romany.
I have sent my friend down there today, he knows nothing about neate so ill be interested to see what he thinks.

Neate 2am Blog, by Zippy on Aug 17, 2007 11:55:51 GMT 1, i went in yesterday lunchtime. I had already seen pics that PA kindly posted. However, nothing could prepare for seeing the work in the flesh. I was blown away, gobsmacked by the work. I loved the self portraits and the framing is also worth a mention. Brave work by Paul and Fiona to pick fluro orange backings and orange and blue frames but it works brilliantly. Top show and a top artist.

Neate 2am Blog, by pezlow on Aug 17, 2007 11:59:06 GMT 1, Have one back zippy. There seems to be a few people who don't like us raving about neate and who think it is all hype. I'll probably get a respect point nicked off me now for that as well.

Neate 2am Blog, by slowmo on Aug 17, 2007 12:03:21 GMT 1, I think the frames were all Adam's decisions. I know the Queens head was a frame he chose, because he burnt it so the top matches the pub on fire in the image.

Neate 2am Blog, by romanywg on Aug 17, 2007 12:22:09 GMT 1, The framing does stand out and really complements each work but I wondered why they weren't framed with Museum quality glass as that would have cut out glare and reflections out by 90%. I was standing opposite one on the top floor and all I saw was a reflection of me.

Neate 2am Blog, by Aza on Aug 17, 2007 12:51:37 GMT 1, I agree Come On and Queens special were using museum glass and they looked awesome. Really dont understand why the others were not using it. They would look even better! If I was lucky enough to buy one of those pieces, it would be straight back to john jones for a glass change. Crazy considering the prices, surely another grand on top makes no difference!

What I have started to realize is, some of you have made enemy's on another forum and they then come on here to take Respect points out of you
