Were these made by attendees of the show, not by Hirst himself? Some were, these were signed by Hirst himself. This one is a stamped signature by the look of it, meaning it was made by an attendee. It's worth noting that Science refuses to authenticate most of these, only a very select few hence why you don't see them at the major auction houses. |

There were a few made by Hirst and signed by him in pen but these don't have the stamp, you do sometimes see these at the major auction houses.
I think an issue is that the people running the show got a little bit liberal with the stamp after the exhibition hence why Science is reluctant to authenticate.

None of the top tier auction houses will offer these unless they are one of the few actually signed by Hirst.

I think 99% of the forum were aware of these and could have designed and bought their own at cost? So seems unlikely that someone would want to pay a ยฃ2k mark up for you designing theirs.
I'm sure some more savvy forum members have been keeping an eye out on secondary pricing so maybe they'll be able to give you an idea on what any have sold for.

You have a point re the design but people still paid a premium for The Virtues which was timed amongst other editions of that nature. Will see what messages I get over the next couple of days |
