Was with DMF (many thanks mate) in the queue and have to say it was well worth 24 hours of discomfort in order to get this print on the wall. I hope the memories will help to make this a keeper for many. Many thanks to POW for a well organised and managed event and the Turkish restaurant on the corner, which stayed open late and provided some free teas and hot food as well as adding a Banksy special to their menu.
Much respect to Cam and his tardis of a tent at the front of the queue for doing 2 nights. Also his patience in answering the constant, "what are you here for" question!

How do you know this? Cos we would of paid that as well as others would of.

Ran from station to station and arrived around 4pm to what i thought i was going to be too late. But what a feeling to be 68th in queue and guaranteed a print 
I also met my neighbours grafik (who i already knew) and darrenreaply.
Just got to say darren is one of the nicest guys ive met, a true gent ! I owe you a drink for the hot chocolate
Also met butterfly & mammal along with many other forum members and shared many laughs. Not being able to sleep due to, ridiculous amounts of questions, needing a piss, noise, alcohol, teenage love affairs, and crackheads.
Just wanna say thanks to everyone i met to make the queue that more enjoyable. It was amazing because if you really wanted the banksy you could of made it in time, its just if you wanted to make the effort to turn up. After I turned up it wasnt a crazy rush like i normally feel when going to any pow event.
Hope you all enjoy the print as much as I will. Love it.

i asked them and they were like we sold them to a guy in the que who said he would give us 700 cash plus the 450.
the came simply to flip like many other in the que.
they are not my good mates just people I went to uni with who must have got wind somehow.

Wish POW would invest in some BRP tubes tho. Gonna take a while to flatten this baby out

I was in London yesterday and was actually doing a trade with a forum member in Shorditch who was going to attend the q at 2pm in the afternoon. I had a look 30 in the queue with a guanteed print, and I passed! Why did i pass, because this whole thing has become about money and not the art. Its not that money is not important and no doubt a lot in the q where very much in need, as am I, however I appreciate the art more than the money and thats why I passed.............. and i did have a hat and gloves!! Peace out........

why should you care what others think, your buying the image for yourself, your own personal reasons. mine being cause i love the image.

Otherwise if you want to buy a Banksy straight up prior to building a relationship with a gallery, just grab it off the secondary market.

Personally i dont agree, if you want buy a banksy as your first piece, go buy one. You shouldnt have to buy other art to PROVE yourself to a gallery.
And again, we're not really fussed, we buy the majority of work on the secondary market and we're happy doing this.
