Banksy • No Ball Games GREY, by kissysusuki on Dec 13, 2009 22:06:16 GMT 1, 42 pages of b**ching about flipers and not much talk of the artistic merit of the piece, or what it means, Hlarmy tried to get the conversation to steer in that direction but that fell on deaf ears.
Chippy, why dont you just flip your print if you havent already, and then get a hotel room invite Willy and show him how to truly makes his willy wonky

Banksy • No Ball Games GREY, by darrenrapley on Dec 13, 2009 22:17:52 GMT 1, Cheers mate - we got lucky with our neighbours for sure! Darren - apologies, I think I may have woken you up about 04:30. I did a reconnaisance of the queue from back at what turned out to be the early 200s. Spotted a familiar face and gave you a big shout out! .
Hey there! I do remember you coming up and I was half asleep and didn't really click on to who you were. After 3 hours of strangers coming up to you and asking questions meant I was not on top form. My huge apologies chap - I did walk to the back of the queue in the morning to see if I could recognise you but didn't.
Glad you were successful!

Banksy • No Ball Games GREY, by veralynn on Dec 13, 2009 22:28:47 GMT 1, I don't think that there would actually be a parallel market for 'yet to be assigned coa' stuff as don't think that buyers would touch it with a bargepole. Really? Imagine Banksy releases one of the best/most popular prints he's ever done. Its a lottery and lets say only 1/10 of the people who want one get one. You think a significant number of passionate fans who missed out wouldn't try and get hold of one for the next five years? I think when there are a limited number of items that lots of people want, a market of some sort will always develop - it's inevitable. My guess is there would be fairly high prices straight after release, (before the fakes hit) then the market would get flooded with fakes and the uncertainty would drive prices right down, then when the coa's were issued 5 years later, prices would skyrocket (if Banksy is still as popular as he is today).
Fair point and in retrospect you're probably right.....was more responding to the idea more than anything..

Nope, it was the first thing i did when i got back but no answer as get. going to get it framed exactly the same as the Nola in a chunky black box frame with grey black and white mounts.

100% agree; I can't stand seeing a reflection!
It shouldn't cost much more than £200 from a non-branded framer, maybe £250 maximum for a print of this size...
