There are two on eBay. 38,500 and 43,200. One is in San Francisco, the other is in Cape Coral Florida. Not Southern California, so different print. Would be nice if OP would post pics highlightin โMINTโ condition.

Hammer price is a fair indication of private sale. That sale was in a retail setting, this is private, why would a private buyer pay the auction fees when it's not retail. Having said that I think the price the Ops asking is fine.

Iโve sold through auction houses before and never once did I have to pay a sellers fee as everything submitted sells for good money and they want the piece for their auction. I will look up and post the most recent auction records for this piece but the fact of the matter is as someone stated there are two on eBay for thousands more and who knows what condition those prints are in.. I feel very confident that $36K is a fair price for this print, all things considered.

You might as well. Everyone else does. When they want to buy, they log into one of their very many accounts with โwow, thatโs too high. Market is so soft right nowโ. When they want to sel, theyโll log into another account with โReally? That sounds too low. I know one that sold privately (impossible to verify) for a much higher numberโ.
Great community and support for the arts amongst most members. Lots of Gallery-bashing here when in many ways, the forum is just as predatory of an environment to buy/sell.
