Original Banksy Rat, by cashman on Oct 31, 2007 12:22:55 GMT 1, I can see Jef's point of view on this  but the problem is that this piece would never still be on the street anyway  A gallery would have come along and nicked it, and then be selling it for ยฃ50,000+ So I cant see any ideal outcome from this I guess Banksy has just got to make sure he does any future pieces of street work on solid walls rather than on wooden hoardings.

Just wanted to say I'm not arguing on this its just an interesting subject ;D What about Banksy or Laz taking pieces to sell in Gallery or at Auction?
Theres no real answer to this its simply down to each persons morals on the subject
Are they street pieces though??? Are they cutting them out of walls then coming on here pretending they care about the piece?...... but really only wanting a value for it ?
Ive seen many banksy's on the street in the last 7-8 years and not once have I even considerd removing them from the street...
p.s I sound a bit arsey coz ive tried to leave positive comments on here but keep getting negged, so im going back to expressing my opinion openly.
