With regards to this piece. Not sure as to why he felt the need to clarify what was written on the bottles here for the short sighted. If it does not visually work with out the large riot then maybe change the format or medium? Does anyone know if he has actually made bottles of coke with riot on?

I once saw a lecture by a guy who sculptured coke bottles out of his own shit and dried it as sculpture. Now thats a message!

With all due respect these sort of 'puns and novelties' are kind of foundation level thinking - its not too hard silky. Its exacuting them and presenting them in the right way where so many fall down. Thats the art - IMO.
D-face seems to do this very well.

I think he has done that to make it more accessible, if he rolled up with everything at 12-30k he might be in trouble, but i think its a smart move and whatever people say he has never done these before so in my eyes they are new work and very cool

I remember speaking with Levine ages ago over a work which was left from the previous DFace show there (Dead Winston) and was told that the prices for this current show would rise significantly.
