Nick Walker โข TMA Hollywood, by BlackRatPress on Feb 14, 2008 12:16:11 GMT 1, sorry about this chaos people. I know from the deluge of calls that a lot of people are very angry/upset about this print release. All I can say is sorry to those dissappointed but they went on at 11.am and by the time I could look at the front of the site had sold out. There is no perfect way to release a print under this demand and the reason for doing it online was so saturdays event was not ruined by trouble. Releasing live in my opinion does not stopp flippers as people who flip for a living tend to be those who can afford to queue for longest. We had something like 2500 people refreshing at 11am. Gonna think hard about how to deal with this in future - perhaps larger editions or higher prices. Sorry to thopse dissappointed. we do care about our customers and do not want to make people unhappy. mike

Indeed. Or the Swoon Boy print which is an absolute stunner. Or Logan Hicks Sunset Apartment Complex. All of them great prints and you don't have to f5 like a demon.

Nick Walker โข TMA Hollywood, by Neate Michael on Feb 14, 2008 12:22:17 GMT 1, Would higher prices deter flippers? It is an interesting discussion to be had... If the prints were sold for ยฃ1000 each, there would still be a profit to be made.
Myself, I favour a lottery system, although nothing would ever be fair or completely random.
I feel for BRP, and POW on days like this, no chance of pleasing everybody.
And BRP are some of the nicest people you ever gonna meet in this line of work.

how about a queue - where people who didn't get this one (me) are frist in line for the next one - ie spread the love!
