Completely disagree with this.
Loved seeing this on the big screen, esp in the atmosphere of the Lambeth. Certainly dont see it working "much better" on TV. It will be good on TV, because it's a fantastic film, given our passion, but it was wonderful on the big screen. imo of course!

He falls in with a band of “street artists”, and videos them at work, accruing hundreds of hours of footage. Which he then makes into a terrible film. Bansky takes it, and turns it into a highly enjoyable 90 minutes. A movie perhaps not getting the appreciation it deserves. I had an entire, large cinema to myself yesterday afternoon. What a treat."

The thing is, it has probably done quite well for what it is, a documentary on art, and I am sure it will do ok too on dvd, but it's hardly a mass market documentary. (If such a thing exists).

I must say I'm quite excited, great reviews all over, should be very good. So fingers crossed for a fast dvd release.

BANKSY Film "Exit Through The Gift Shop", by andyp10 on Mar 27, 2010 12:45:58 GMT 1, Went to see it last night really enjoyed it as the film progressed it was more about MBW than Banksy who by what i made of it arranged the order of the film footage to make it watchable fair play though to him he is like a french Ron Jeremy and just seemed to take it all in his stride he found something in the subjects of all he filmed and made it his motivation to become an artist.
