i sent another email to stolen space asking they rethink about this policy , to charge for something i should have recieved originaly, and got a very informative reply back from Beth, she explained it is D' himself who is refusing to do the COA unless he is paid £150 for them, she states he is impossibe to deal with and appoligised for the situation, Beth has been stuck between the buyers/ collectors and D' for me D has reached a new low, beth has offered to make a Stolen space letter to verify the pieces , thanks Beth  She was helpfull as usual, SS is lucky to have somebody like her working with them. D' can fook off

Who would be happy getting pestered alot to issue COA for bits they had done years ago, and couldnt even see.
How does it work? I ask for a COA on a canvas I bought form SS, they then ask Dface to produce one? How does he verify its actually his?
Surely, if the art was purchased from SS then SS should produce it and leave the artist out of the loop ?
They should emulate the POW/Banksy scenario on Prov and leave the artist to get do art and get pissed etc

Why should an artist authenicate their work, its the gallery that should do it.
I think SS are shirking their responsibilities, they sold the pieces, they should provide the required paperwork.
Name an artists who you have bought via a gallery, and the COA was provided by the Artist and not the Gallery
