Banksy-Unique Piece Of Banksy History/Banging Your Head..Book/Envelope/Letter
In 2001 a relatively unknown young artist called Banksy contacted a distribution company called Cargo about distributing his first book โbanging your head against a brick wallโ โ they received a complimentary copy and said yes to the distribution..selling out of the 125 he sent pretty quickly! Now that copy is available for auction!! - It is still in its brown envelope with the name of the contact and cargos address on the front in his characteristic stencil writing (surrounded by dashes with a pair of scissors - so possibly a unique banksy stencil as well) and a small note also in stencil is included.
Unfortunately Pest Control will only authenticate works of art so there is no COA but the postmark is clearly legible as being sent on the 29th November 2001 & coming from taunton, bristol.
