King ROBBO π¬π§ Banksy v King Robbo β’ Street Art, by des77 on Apr 1, 2011 16:37:59 GMT 1, So Mark Sincler is part of team robbo ? Yes he's 'Prime'
Fair play. No idea why an artist with that kind of skill needs to be associated with the whole team robbo thing

King ROBBO π¬π§ Banksy v King Robbo β’ Street Art, by Agent Provocateur on Apr 1, 2011 18:24:38 GMT 1, Wrong there. The original is a large charcoal drawing. The giclee print was sold at the POW show. The original was shown at another show earlier in the year and received no press attention. The Sun et al got the wrong end of the stick about the piece.
Fantastic, do you know where I can see some photos of the original charcoal drawing that the giclee sold at M&S was taken from? I love the way he got the smooth cloud detail and bus absolutely perfectly then managed to give the two cherubs a great textured feel as if they flew directly off an old masters canvas! The guy definitely has skills.

If fact, let's not be so polite.. it's 100% photoshopped, with at best, some smudge marks by hand, if that.

Shame the image of 'The Age of Shiva' is still the giclee print and not the original charcoal drawing tho, bit weird as all the other sketches look really charcoaly.
This one is quality...

King ROBBO π¬π§ Banksy v King Robbo β’ Street Art, by Signal Gallery on Apr 2, 2011 12:32:53 GMT 1, The original Age of Shiva charcoal drawing (and yes it is a drawing) was in the Atom Rooms show which Part2ism curated last September. The piece is now sold. The edition of 250 giclee that POW had sold out within a day of being released. There are none to be had anywhere.

King ROBBO π¬π§ Banksy v King Robbo β’ Street Art, by aj2010 on Apr 8, 2011 16:15:44 GMT 1, I find the Robbo prints pitiful. If he did indeed have any credibility and artistic merit he seems to lost it a long time ago. He is now defined by his jealousy of Banksy and trying to cash in on that very fact. Sad man.

In cahoots or really having a go. Visit the show as I thought some of the stuff was really good. Particularly the dripping Canvas
