What exactly does this mean?
Just been told that robbo is in a PVS (persistent vegative state) he will not be recovering unfortunantly which is bad but he is in a care home now get well soon.

When he is awake he can look at you and sometimes squeeze your hand...it is said he will take two years to heal with a great deal of effort and love from his family and us all....some of this is in the article below in Spanish and you can use google translate fairly well to read it but if anyone gets in a muddle let me know and I will try to translate it for you as I speak the lingo. Keep up the prayers and positive energy for King Robbo's healing...almost nine months now since he was found at the bottom of 12 steps with a massive head injury and it doesn't look like he will be able to tell us anytime soon what happened but no matter. No, it meant I don't know anything, but I am keeping an eye on this thread to see if anyone who does know anything says something.
A timely reminder though freerange, as it's been a long time now.
If he's better, that's great news. If he's not, then I still hope him a full recovery and thoughts are with his family.

Maybe it is still too early to diagnose PVS. It seems like they are hoping that with intense physio and rehabilitation, that over the next two years his condition may improve somewhat. Unfortunately, it does seem like he will never be the same as he was before the accident. It does put petty sqabbles into perspective and just shows how any of our lives can change so dramatically in just an instance.
