They are a family favorite! If you haven't already, it's worth picking up a copy of Grammer Wanker. A book of their lyrics. They are gritty poetry. Bracket Press.

What Music are you listening to at the moment ?, by Coach on Jan 28, 2016 16:48:28 GMT 1, I can't read the full title. Is that the Family Go Team? If so, that's a blast from the past. Were guy ever into that jingly jangly indie pop scene, a lot of which I think came from Bristol. Sarah Records. The Orchilds, the Field Mice, etc? I loved all that.

Fab band. Fab song. I've mentioned this so many times, that I sound like a stuck record, I was living in Manchester from 86 to 89 during the explosion of the music scene there. Saw the Inspirals so many times. Still have my Dung 4 tape that was released and sold through Picadilly Record shop (at least I think that's the only place it was sold) This was my fave tune, best with the original lead singer.
Have you checked out the Clint Boon Experience?

Bought the first Clint Boon album, after hearing 'White No Sugar.' Need to hear more.

Your lot were mentioned a few times on Radcliffe & MacConie's show on 6 music today, half an hour in if you want to iplayer it. Talking about bands with lots of bass players.

What Music are you listening to at the moment ?, by Coach on Jan 28, 2016 22:25:12 GMT 1, And while we are on organs, nothing beats early James Taylor Quartet. The Money Spyder LP that this song is from doesn't have a bad track on it. Seeing these lot in the late 80's was always fun. Crowd dancing like mad. JT insulting people between tunes. Great memories. Listen loud!

And pre-JTQ
Always saw this track as the theme tune to a 1960's sci-fi prog, possibly a Gerry Anderson show.

I'm still staggeringly impressed with the Fall gigs.
