The signature that is similar to the one I've provided doesn't have any comments regarding it's authenticity... Not trying to be argumentative, just want to point out that the pic similar to mine was used in that thread to prove the one above as fraudulent, as well as show difference in colouration.

The edition of 50 piece in the other thread is genuine , I know this as it was offered to me about 18 months ago.
I wonder if this was signed and gifted by the artist, and possibly the letters AP added later.
I would speak to pest control if I were you.

I would think Pest Control would authenticated this, if it is indeed legit, since it's stamped. Try contacting them as well as POW. good luck! hope it's legit

I realize these are pretty rare, but being fairly inexperienced with them...I'd like your opinion on authenticity. First, as an Artist Proof, I would assume that it would vary from others since each proof was from a different part of the printing process. But it's not. All of the ink 'blots' match exactly with every other version I've seen, and the print date info at the top is the same as well. Maybe this is normal, and for retail Banksy/POW made copies of just one? Secondly, this IS blind-stamped by POW (embossed), but I've heard that neither they nor PestControl will authenticate them since they are Artist Proofs and not part of the regular edition run... Thoughts? Thirdly, 'AP' has been written in pencil inside of the POW stamp per usual, HOWEVER it is not numbered. From my research I've had people tell me that only 32 legit AP's were produced, and they are all numbered (with both AP and the # inside the POW stamp). I haven't been able to confirm this information... Lastly, the Banksy signature seems to be legit with other pieces I've compared also from 2004. SO, I'd love some insight to the info above if anyone has experience with the FULL SHEETS of TENNERS. I've done about as much research as I can without physically seeing the piece, but the seller is not local to me. Any info/impressions based on what I've provided would be very much appreciated! If you haven't already done so, you may wish to consider passing the details of the seller to Pictures on Walls. It could be a helpful heads-up for them, and might also reduce the chances of a less vigilant buyer being defrauded.

I would expect a 2004/5 print to show the Printmakers wording
could this have been run off as part of the original batch - and there were shitloads of them - and latterly stamped by persons unknown? the stamp is pretty fresh, but the thickness of the paper probably accounts for its clean lines
Now Im not advocating this, but if it is slightly bogus i.e real but not real IYKWIM, then a visit to POW for acheck may result in the print being marked as such by POW. big risk to bring this to their attention if you have a doubt as to its legitimacy
