I think the print is 27 x 27. I asked the framer to float it on top of arctic white mat with 2 inch border, and brushed silver metal frame with 1 inch width, so it added 3 inches total, making it a 30 x 30 square. He used museum quality UV glass because itโs more scratch resistant than plexi/acrylic.

I went to opening show in Boston's MFA, paid $20 and got access to prints at cost directly from Murakami (circa $400-600). I think I lucked out because it seems, unless I'm in Japan and somehow have an "in" with Murakami's own gallery, everyone else charges at least a 100% premium on the prints.

I turned up soon after it opened to find only 15 or so people in the queue - happy days I thought but I soon released what a money grabbing *&^%% Murakami is - he allows the re-sellers to buy 5 of each print - there were about 8 prints being sold that day amongst plushes and other goodies - but just by a few re-sellers these were all hoovered up. They fill in order forms each re-seller were buying 40 odd prints plus 20 or so plushes. Now I have been a Murakami fan for years and was really excited that I happened to be in Tokyo when one of his famous print drops occurred but lost so much respect for him when i realised how actively he seemed to be in selling his prints to re-sellers. He also sells them at a much lower price than the galleries - iro ยฃ300 per print. I only wanted one.

Prices were normal. The older rare ones were $6K but I got a 2017 Francis Bacon for $900. Sales are in-store only. Iโd say about half the selection is sold out but as of Saturday, they had a lot left. They have an exclusive color of the flower plushes as well. And several copies of the now-rare Versailles book which are $400 (!!!!!).

Cheaper at auctions.
I recently saw framed, round Flowerball prints sell for half of what Perrotin are currently charging (they just added 1000 euro to their prices!)

Agree that some of the stock has dings and framing issues so inspecting is a must (as with all auctions really)
Last year I picked up a set of 3 "And then x6" for the price of what I was quoted for 1 in a gallery (and that's including fees and shipping) so you can get a good deal now and then
Some of them are sold in lots of 6 or more, and I always figured they were being bought by galleries to flog individually...

No if memory serves you can get an english version of the eBay japan website, but most Japanese sellers ship internationally so eBay.com will show a ton of sellers from Japan usually
I will admit I haven't bought any Murakami prints in the last 2 years so if this has changed I apologise for the stale tip
