โจI bought this framed and stuck it straight on the wall until I found the time to get it reframed.
When I unframed It i discovered it was actually held in place using masking tape, about 3mm around the whole print! no tape was used on the back! I carefully peeled it off and the left, right and bottom came off fine but sadly the top of the print suffered some fibre loss, if you look you can see it clearly,in one area particularly, I've taken pictures and if you have a look at the whole print you'll see it isn't horrendous
Also the last picture before the COA is trying to capture the tape damage in the 3rd & 4th photo ,it can be repaired or framed easily to hide the small damage

1) ALWAYS have your framed art de-framed and inspected before purchase or at the very least do it yourself immediately after purchase with the agreement if there is any undisclosed damage it can be returned (only if the seller is reputable and trusted). In my experience over the years I'd say close to 75% of framed B pieces had mounting issues that could only be seen when removed and 95% on the reverse and looked perfect framed. Some were even spray mounted and basically worthless but bought for full price to an unfortunate buyer.
2) Upon discovery of damage, especially adhesive issues, NEVER try to remove it yourself and take to a reputable restoration house. Not all adhesive issues are fully repairable but many can be safely removed with proper moisture and solvent application that only a specialized expert should do.
Good luck w the sale and hopefully something positive can come out of this to prevent others from ending up with a similar situation.

It's so minimal I would get a guillotine and trim the edges ,

Hiya, I know , I know! I was careful and both sides and the bottom came off easy, it was when I got to the top but I hit the problem. It's honestly not that bad, I'm just being honest and I'm getting the feeling most people really aren't bothered.
