I wondered what Pale marks meant. I'm not saying little bond is lying about anything. But I'd be very concerened because I used to use that kind of stuff to hang posters in my room. I still have one of em and 10 years later you can see the grease stain coming through the front. Guess it depends on the paper a little bit too. At about 1000 pounds I'd consider it. But for what's already at a record price for ebay ...I'm passing on this auction. Too much madness out there. Friggin ridiculous.

The pale marks tend to occur on matt black print, I have some on my crucipod, they happen when the print is rolled and the edge rubs the paint, this is reduced if tissue is used. They are a common occurance and a shame but shouldn't affect the value unless really bad. It's the blu-tac thats worrying.
Evil nasty stuff, fucks up your walls as well as your prints, I have loads of early saught after posters ruined by it and hours of decorating under my belt after my ex used to put up her xmas cards!!
I never had that problem cuz aint on anyones xmas card list!

We ae talking large sums of people's hard earned cash so naturally any buyer wants to make sure a purchase is value for money.

Just hard cold advice about whether or not it's worth dropping what is a record amount of money for this print to begin with and not only that this print may have some long term staining issues. Although your brother may not be aware of that. I'm not suggesting he's being shady but for future reference that should be noted. And I definitely have respect for anyone who was cool enough to buy this print years ago. Lucky him for the small fortune.
