Banksy • Flower Thrower • Love is in the Air, by Deleted on May 16, 2015 21:21:16 GMT 1, Unsigned prices are falling !! Let's see if he gets £9k ! I bet he doesn't get close The days of these silly prices for unsigned works are over ! Certain galleries have an agenda by placing ridiculously high prices on prints which they aren't seliing giving private sellers false hopes of sellng prices, it's just stupid and they think they can manipulate the market It's all bullshit ! Fair price on this is £6000-£7000 max! that's just my opinion Others will have their say Let's see

True, ever shrinking supply and constant increase in demand should really start to take it's toll on B prices. If the past 5 years have taught us anything it's let this madness pass and soon everything will be back to their original retail price. The crash is coming.. just wait a little longer.

My question is, if it's just your opinion, isn't that just as much bullsh**t to nail down a fair price? I don't know that unsigned pieces are falling so dramatically. Just because a few pieces are sold very reasonably doesn't tip the market scales completely. There are those who would rather hold on to a nice piece than sell it below market value. I'm fairly sure there are quite a few Banksy lovers out there who are just sitting back enjoying his art, they're called collectors. Remember, just cause you say it doesn't make it so. I agree with you on the "let's see" part of your post.

Where is your proof of unsigned prices falling? Pretty sure prices on here and in galleries point to the opposite being true, no?
a LIITA sold on here for 8.5k about a month ago on here as someone has already mentioned.
I made a post some months ago offering 7.5k for a LIITA and didn't receive one message of interest.

Banksy • Flower Thrower • Love is in the Air, by Graham H on May 24, 2015 14:11:50 GMT 1, Still on the lookout.. no joy so far. Also would consider other signed pieces as its tough out there getting this LIITA..
Banksy • Flower Thrower • Love is in the Air, by Howard Johnson on Jun 16, 2015 2:10:21 GMT 1, Looking to buy an u/s LIITA. Cash ready to pay the current market rate, and would prefer a US based seller. If your interested please send over your asking price along with pictures of the print. I'll leave this up for about a week and choose the lowest offer. Thank you!
As for my budget it IS AT OR ABOVE the current market value. ALL reasonable offers will be considered. I'm not setting a firm number as I don't want interested sellers to simply ask for my max amount, but please be confident that I am willing to pay current market value and will not lowball you.

Banksy • Flower Thrower • Love is in the Air, by Deleted on Jun 16, 2015 18:19:34 GMT 1, I'd say your problem will be getting somebody to let go of one. At $7-8 k I'd be very surprised if you'll find one. IMHO

Banksy • Flower Thrower • Love is in the Air, by 11 on Jun 16, 2015 19:24:51 GMT 1, To be fair, the OP has said he is prepared to pay market rate and hasn't set any expectation of max budget - he is just asking if anyone is selling and what price you want.
Thought it best to point that out in case people don't bother getting in touch believing he has set a price expectation

Yes, thank you for this clarification. Just to be clear My budget for this print is at or above the current market value for this print (obviously not disclosing specifics as to not put myself at a disadvantage in negotiations). If you have a copy you'd be willing to sell, please get in touch and ALL REASONABLE OFFERS will be considered.
As for signed pieces I will state that the budget is 20-25k USD which is obviously on the lower end of the market, but if your interested at this price please let me know. Thank you!

Banksy • Flower Thrower • Love is in the Air, by Unica on Jun 16, 2015 20:55:10 GMT 1, I think you are looking at $13-15k for a mint never framed unsigned LIITA. I'd buy them all day at $8k in good condition. Laz sold his last year for $15k and it was framed. I tried for one recently and was looking $13k but no one had wanted to part with a mint for that.

Has slight marking on the black screen printing but apart from that it's good. Not for sale though as for me it's one of my grail pieces. Just wish it had a signature but that my take me abit more saving

Banksy • Flower Thrower • Love is in the Air, by Deleted on Jun 16, 2015 21:09:19 GMT 1, Mint will be very difficult to get. My unsigned has a few small marks on the black areas, only visible up close, but many prints of this era have the black slightly marked. I have a Laugh Now in excellent condition apart from slight marks on black.

Banksy • Flower Thrower • Love is in the Air, by Howard Johnson on Jun 16, 2015 22:56:19 GMT 1, Thanks everyone for the advice. Yup I have the cash to get a mint one but will defiantly consider one with neglible condition issues, or even major ones if the price is proportionate.

rparducci • That's a good idea ,have you got any pictures of what exactly you meant? Was thinking of maybe ornate in red too? What are your thoughts
Daniel Silk • The number or Boards and Threads continues to fall as we simplify the layout of the forum.
Daniel Silk • I hear a lot of Artists complaining about Instagram in the past year, how it used to be a good tool for Artists, but it's not good anymore, is that true?
anyaart • For Brett Kern fans, I noticed there is a spinosaurus for sale on E-Bay. It's a limited edition, one of only 60 made. This is the rarest of his dinosaurs. I am not the seller. I already have the same dino purchased in 2016. I've never seen one up for sale
Daniel Silk • Apology • Sorry I have been offline this past few weeks, due to a very bad Fever. I'm slowly getting better, step by step, and catching up with things here on the forum on the days I'm well enough. Thank you for your understanding.
Boy Wonder • I read that they were more or less nicked the same day they went up. Loads of fakes exist.
milou2 • Would love to see any photos of Banksy's first exhibition at the Severnshed in Bristol (2000). Who was there?*
jirr • Hi all, over here in the states. Pandemic put me out of business, need to sell this asap. Please send offers thanks so much
matgab • Steven Harrington - Gotcha first ed for sale.
1nkling • I can't help but think that a more reasonable tier for people who just want to support the work you guys do would raise more income. Then other tiers for those that want specialist benefits.
1nkling • As soon as I saw the heading for the email I thought 'Oh yeah, I use that place a lot. I'd happily support it'. Not at £40 a month though. I have a paid sub for a Formula 1 site I use that is very active. They have a high uptake on subs at £12 a year.
1nkling • Pricing on the new supporters sub seems a bit poorly thought out. £40 a month to have a pinned sale thread being the only listed benefit?
Daniel Silk • The forum now has more than half the number of Boards than it had a year ago! As we work towards simplifying the layout.
