new JR print out soon. i guess, by dotdot on Mar 25, 2011 0:04:11 GMT 1, all right guys the release of the colored version is a bit of a problem for our website. to avoid too many people ordering and paying for them when we do not have enough. i'll put them online and since then, i'll accept orders for those via email at studiocromie@gmail.com until they are sold out. i will obviously sell them to the ones that will write emails from the moment they'll be online. not any sooner angelo

If it's not signed on the white, what on earth is it's purpose?
I can't see anything but a white box frame working with the coloured prints, framed up to the edges. Not a bad thing mind.
Not for me though, just don't see the appeal of JR indoors.

And for what its worth, in my dealings with Angelo I have found him very patient and responsive to my queries...he came across very well in emails and I got a sense that he's one of the good un's.....
My Dalek Fame print arrived in perfect condition, well packed in a good sturdy tube.
I could not fault Studiochromie.

yes, the edition was supposed to be of 15 copies each.
then we decided to do 10 copies each and keep the aps since we were going to keep those 5 anyway between us and the artist.

I wish him all the best.. My 2cents for the print makers. The prints need to be smaller - 90cm is really big and to me these would be easier to buy, frame, and hang if they were 1/2 the size. Funny opinion i guess since JR made his mark literally covering buildings with his images. .. oh and to the haters worrying about the pricing. please. stop. These guys have a right to create and sell at whatever price they desire. give your opinion nicely and move along. The negative energy earlier on in this thread is unfortunate.

If the quality of the printing of the previous three JR prints that Angelo has produced is anything to go by this will not fail to please. My self portrait and eyes hung one above another get for more comments and attention from visitors than any of my Banksys these days, especially now that his reputation and his projects are getting known.

I usually love Jr's work, but these do absolutely nothing for me.
I really don't like the scrunched up pasteup idea as a print. I would much rather have the real thing and frame it myself or a full, edge to edge image.

For me the white version is easily the better version, the image looks neater, and the border at the bottom of the coloured versions would, as you say, bug me. Still, cracking, well done Angelo and JR.
