FS: O/G Marilyn canvas by Steve Kaufman, by Imoy-San on Apr 25, 2011 21:51:02 GMT 1, I am selling one of my Marilyn canvasses by Steve Kaufman. It has a unique colour combination - splashes with red and blue.
Steve was Andy Warhol's main assistant and was responsible for many of the works released by Warhol. Though this is not a real Warhol "Marilyn", it is as close to one as many of us can afford - it was made by the person who actually did the original and it is a canvas...
Kaufmanโs art work hangs in museums, the White House, Major art galleries around the world and is highly collectable.
Sadly Steve passed away last year. The sale is to fund a new purchase. I am looking for a sharpish sale - at around ยฃ700 which I think is a fair price, but I am also open to offers.
