The £50 Art Thread, by rob123rob on Sept 10, 2007 23:13:10 GMT 1, I've mentioned it on this forum before, and I know he's not everyone's cup o' tea, but Mark Ryden has a mini-portfolio on his website of 14 prints in a neat little box, kinda dark, creepy, kids with big eyes and breast-milk-drinking tiny elephant type of art, and the portfolio cost $50 US.....(out of an edition of 10,000....so they'll never be rare or "valuable" beyond its price, but a cool little set).

They've given me a whole new outlook on this niche market and I'm very pleased with the quality of the pieces. You can feel the heart and soul that's put into them unlike most of these clean, stale & expensive elitist prints everyone seems to be drooling over.
I highly recommend spending some time browsing through all the art on the site. Some very nice stuff . You can buy 5 pieces or so for the price listed in the title of this thread.

Was looking at Will's work recently. All I can say is wow. He worked as an illustrator for Marvel comics, someone should introduce him to the graf scene!
