Think he wanted non urban photographers. Marta cooper is cool, pretty much anyone that went to a school with a library should know who she is.

He basically takes multiple shots at one location, then patches them together manually. Well worth checking out the zoomable images on his site.

great stuff, i saw at the saatchi gallery a photographer who took many shots of the same item (eg a gas tower) and then put them on top of each other. it gave a strange 3d effect. Really cool but when i looked into it his works were £30k in past auctions and i had missed the boat on the cheaper releases.

Schulli, the mantle is from a London townhouse circa '34, making my normal suburban American home just that bit cooler.

First image is an amazing capture with a stunning balance of exposure. Not sure if the bokeh on the girl makes or breaks this pic.Great capture all the same
Festival-goers dance to Jarvis Cocker and his band Pulp as the sunsets during the third day of the Glastonbury Festival June 25, 2011. This year's festival featured headline acts U2, Coldplay and Beyonce. Now in its fifth decade, the event has grown from a humble gathering of 1,500 people on Michael Eavis's Worthy dairy farm in 1970, each paying 1 pound and receiving free milk, to a giant five-day celebration of music costing 195 pounds for a basic ticket. Richard Hopkinson and Meryl Knapp who are both 70 and from Yorkshire dance outside a reggae music tent as they visit the festival for the first time in their lives June 25. (Matt Cardy/Getty Images) #
