I voiced mine on this matter and got hammered with minus respect!!!!

I haven't given anyone in this argument any - respect.
The amount of money spent on those 6 books could have bought 18 books therefore giving three times as much to charity instead of lining this guys pockets.

That's what the respect system is all about isn't it? rub people up the wrong way and they'll neg you, do something constructive, helpful or interesting they'll pos you. People can (almost) say what they like, doesn't mean you're gonna be liked for it. I may have a high respect score but it could have been much higher, I know I've sometimes rubbed people up the wrong way and I know points have been taken off, fair enough, I'd rather say what I want (within reason).
