Didn't stick around to hear the whole conversation though, and I think it was more chit chat than official announcement. They were talking about the lottery system for releases too, but who knows what will happen!?

I hope you are right but it would be useful for some concrete eveidence or statement from POW.

part of the problem was backdoor prints which were numbered up to make them look like the main edition, which has been halted due to the introduction of pest control and the banksy stamps. POW dont actually stamp banksy prints anymore from what i can see from the last few releases

Yeah u know when people started leaving I thought hell there are lots of good people left. Now the people I was thinking of are pretty much all gone.... Not sure exactly what my point is but things have certainly changed not all for the good and cocteau101 I agree.

I don't know, those cars probably weigh nothing, probably fiberglass ...watch the reaction of the three people in the rear. If this was all faked they all did a good job of acting. But real, phony? It's just more speculation.

I don't have time to sit there pressing F5 and hoping for the best so I tend to buy of the secondary market and unfortunately do not have a spare 2k although I can afford an unsigned usually. At least that way I get the image on my wall.
O by the way, amazon have wii fits in stock. Flippers goooooo.

JBOY, can you explain why that article leads you to think there will be no more unsigned prints?
I too would not be surprised to see only signed from now on, but I would suggest that had more to do with protecting Banksy's artistic integrity rather than fear of forgeries.
All new prints will now be sold with COA's which will state whether the print is signed or unsigned - so it would make no sense for someone to forge the signature on an unsigned.
I doubt anyone in their right mind would buy a Banksy print on the secondary now without a COA from Pest Control/POW, and as far as I'm aware the auction houses will not sell anything without that proof.
