Best two German Montana tones for white people?, by dmf on Sept 1, 2008 11:52:07 GMT 1, Can anyone advise the best two colour tones when stenciling white people using German Montana. All tones i seem to try result in the subject looking like they have spent 4 months sunbathing. The colours obviously have to have a good contrast in order that midtone / highlight detail stands out.

Best two German Montana tones for white people?, by Dellboyy on Sept 1, 2008 13:05:09 GMT 1, I've never used skin tone colours so wouldn't really know... but using a lighter mist and combining with black or white is something i do quite often, just try experimenting on a few bits of paper!

The main colours used include salmon and dirty apricot apricot and are more lively than flesh but flesh and baby skin would work but would look rather drab when used as a stencil.
So you might be best off using salmon with white orange or dirty apricot and salmon with highlights done in white orange or white.
