Firstly apologies if there's been a post on this, but i've been away for a while and cant find anything after a good look through the threads...

I just visited the Warhol exhibition in Edinburgh which has been running for the last month, unfortunately no pictures from inside as they're not allowed, however the exhibition has some nice mock ups on the outside (below)...

For anyone who is in the area and has a chance to go, i recommend it (still 1 week left). It's a great chance to see some of Andy's original art and sculptures in the flesh with some classics there like, Marilyn, Jackie, the Screen Tests and Gun to name a few.

Naturally there is the ever present dodgy tourist gallery shop to visit at the end of it all where i picked up a couple of soup can's and a book of Warhol images, i wonder if Andy would see the humorous side of the use of his everyday images on everyday objects in such modern art classics as "Fridge Magnet", "Tea-Cosy", "Mug", "Tea Towel" etc.......





And finally the ones i bought...good value at GBP6.95 each and they'll look good next to each other in a single frame i reckon.

there's a company in new york that only sells warhol's they can verify the signature for you just type into google warhol mick jagger and the site will pop up i would send you the link but i am not that good on the computer - i collect warhol's and harings and there is a lot of their influences in banksys work if you look

You should be able to get an excellent opinion on it's authenticity by a signature dealer. There are such people who specialise in the trade of signatures and autographs. Years ago I knew a guy at work who was a commited collecter and dealer of autoghraphs. Sorry, but I would have no idea how to find him now as that company has since closed. Such a person would also be able to give you an exact valuation of this item.

Hi there is a shop called Stanley Gibbons on the strand and above that is an autograph shop called Frasiers. They should be able to tell if its real or not. They are expensive though ,they had a Francis Bacon signature on a postcard £1000.
