MisterMN & The Grenade Art Collective, by mistermn on May 27, 2008 13:22:00 GMT 1, A truly eclectic group of Artists and Designers that have all emerged from the more hard core side of Street art and Graffiti culture. Although this is a London based collective, our contributing artists come from the UK, Japan, France and the US. Unlike most Collectives, we aim to focus on the individuality of all the artists and celebrate the diverse qualities of the group.
Our launch show, Quintessential, focuses on British culture and all things quintessentially English. The collective will present a diverse selection of over twenty pieces including a section of the show specifically dedicated to London's Black Taxis, where each of the artists will submit a portrait based on a driver that they have found and interviewed. The interpretation of such a traditional and accepted theme, by such a subversive and unaccepted sub-culture promises to deliver truly unique results that will be worthy of your consideration.
The private view will take place on Wednesday the 4th of June between 6.30pm and 9pm at 212 Kensington Park Road, London W11 1NR.
