solSource is currently accepting submissions for its first Vinyl Art
exhibition opening in conjunction with HIP-HOP THEATER FESTIVAL
week in Washington DC.
Waxploitation: Lost in Transit will feature works created on Vinyl
Records using but not limited to acrylics, spray paint, paint
markers, stencils, mop paint...etc.
Waxploitation: Lost in Transit's theme is travel and the recycling of vinyl records. Many Hip-Hop producers have been known to sample music from the 60's and 70's. Lost in Transit continues to keep vinyl relavant by using records instead of canvas as a means of self expression.
