Another...what do you think of my work., by grantb on Apr 27, 2008 0:27:59 GMT 1, Ok just wnated to show some people of my stencil work. the work im going to show is just some of my a level work.
im soon going to start my own project and hopefully will get some work around. i have a lot of ideas but its just finding the tims as im now under a lot of stress with a level exams and uni stuff and work and moeny etc..
anyway let me know what you think of my current work. i did all the work myself with the help of no one else but my own head and knife.

Does look a bit funny 'cut off' in the middle like that.
And by the way - Is it not uncomfotable having your trousers around your knees? You see these people constantly having to pull their trousers up. I thought it was a female preserve - sacrificing comfort for fashion!

Not a bad start Grantb - get yourself a small canvas - one that fits the size of your stencil. Add some colour. Get loose. Add some freehand bits. Dont constrain yourself to a simple stencil... Enjoy it.
And dont bother posting all of your efforts here - wait until you have produced something you are happy with and post that. It will save a lot of disses...

Two wery easy stencils and the big one seems misplaced on the canvas. Nice size but it would have looked alot better if you had placed it in the lower left corner of the canvas (may also have to get a slightly smaller canvas then too!!)
My tip is a longer tshirt!  hehe

Personally, I would of blended the edges bottom left a lot more, but thats just my subjective opinion, I prefer softer edges... I don't think this is detracting form the image in anyway.
The Marylin is done to death, so I'm not digging this at all, purely because of the content reasons.

I have heard both of those too, but apparently in prison - if you wear your trousers low, your offering your ass to others. So the lower your jeans hang, the more acceptable you are to bumming.
