An intriguing question… or maybe a stupid one?, by purser on Apr 9, 2008 11:47:44 GMT 1, I was just wondering what are the issues involved for an artist when they use copyright imagery (cartoon characters, famous personalities, iconic photography etc) in their art.
Surely they are open to being sued for copyright infringement – especially if they are making ££££££s on the art they sell.

Sometimes they will be made to pay. Thats what happened with Blair photo op. It got so much press at the ghetto. Pete and Cat had to fork out a few quid.
