Heads Up - New Andrew Munoz at Red Propeller, by Heavyconsumer on Mar 21, 2008 19:14:51 GMT 1, Great heads up, especially for those who may not have seen his stuff there yet. I'm not into these 2 images, but love some of the others there. This guy's work is most impressive.
Some new GD drawings for sale too.

Heads Up - New Andrew Munoz at Red Propeller, by angel41 on Mar 21, 2008 21:07:00 GMT 1, It's a strange one. Red Propellor introduced this guy a few months ago and his work was completely different and pap. Now he's back with a Guy Denning vibe and he's a whole lot better for it. I think Red Propellor may have a grooming lab somewhere. I love the Numb paintings.

Heads Up - New Andrew Munoz at Red Propeller, by Heavyconsumer on Mar 21, 2008 21:31:37 GMT 1, no idea on price of paintings, I reckon they're testing the water until his show and will price the work up nearer the time. I also really love those "Numb" paintings and have had similar thoughts to Angel41, with respect to the likeness to some of Guy's work.

hi harveyn, i picked up untitled no. 8 from the first release. i think it was around 95 quid or so. recieved it yesterday. beautiful. at the time i had hovered over no.10 as well, but decided to save some pennies as have bought loads recently. then having seen several pics from the guy who bought it, huge regrets that i didnt pull the trigger on that one too. solace is that it went to an excellent home! sadly was out footie coaching this evening, so missed latest release. canvasses look amazing. c

I thought they only got posted on the site a week ago, they got that out to you nice and quickly! Canvas looks brilliant, I bet you've tried to put a cheeky hold on that one, go on admit it, you have haven't you?!!! To be fair, as stated above, I like all 4 of those canvases a lot. I am worried though, that the more we big up these pieces, the higher their eventual prices are likely to be. It's certainly not often that original art of this standard is within my financial reach,.... from what I've seen so far anyway. I hope his works are nice and accessable, at least for this year - I think that's how it should be when artists are making a name for themselves. I'd love a nice Denning original, but they're already ยฃ3k+ and it's just too much for us at the mo'! (I know there are some smaller pieces for less than that, but there's no point in compromising one's taste as that leads to diminished enjoyment!)

prices on the canvases will be very interesting indeed!!! His stuff is selling out pretty damn fast and so far these drawings are pretty amazing and the paintings are beyond stunning, expect higher prices to follow!!!
And 3k+ for a Denning??? where??? because I want one at that price!!! the Last Denning I bought was ยฃ8k+!!!!

Heads Up - New Andrew Munoz at Red Propeller, by Heavyconsumer on Mar 22, 2008 5:27:18 GMT 1, Sorry photoxtc, I must have been looking at some older pieces. Quite possible. Didn't mean to get your hopes up. But if I remember correctly, your last Denning was a bit special mate, hardly run of the mill (Have you had her framed yet?)!!! And yes, regarding Munoz's pricing, they do seem to be moving it up pretty fast, with lovely charcoals going for as little as under ยฃ100, I think that was to be expected now that his stuff is selling, but let's also remember that it's all been 1/1 (original) stuff so far, so not much to sell! Clearly an edition of 50 or even 25 would be unlikely to sell out in minutes just yet! I think we should all start posting how extremely crap this work is on a new thread and get Silky to delete this one ASAP! ;D
