Visit SYDNEY ๐ญ๐ฒ Australia Street Art, Galleries, Events, by baracass on Sept 20, 2007 15:48:32 GMT 1, I'm from Sydney originally but haven't been back in years and it wasn't until I moved to London that I discovered a love for street art. I'm going back for a visit in January and was wondering if there are any Aussies on the forum that could give me names of galleries/stores worth checking out when I'm over? Is there much of a scene?
And yes, I know Melbourne would be better for that sort of thing.

I have only ever been to the one in Melbourne where they have street work like Invader and Obey but also a fair bit of KidRoboty stuff like Biskup and Shag. Also have some nice Krafft pieces for good prices. They have exhibitions on every now and then so there are often originals available as well.
Back in the day they used to get prints supplied straight from POW so they know what they're doing and have some nice stuff, but ultimately nothing you couldn't buy online for a similar price.
