Visit BRISTOL ๐ฌ๐ง Street Art, Galleries, Events, by hnkpnk on Jun 12, 2020 12:31:14 GMT 1, The updated ppe edition of girl with pierced eardrum would be worth a visit. Think there is still a faded Barcode in Bristol too. Also a short drive to the burning tyre at Bridge Farm school. Don't visit during school hours though๐ Don't forget the massive stik Thanks Terryfuckwitt,
Have you a location of the faded Barcode?
Wasn't aware of the Burning Tyre either, nice one.
The Stik a classic, good shout, will definitely take a look, is this his only work in Bristol?
Thanks for everyone's input.
This is what the Barcode looked like in 2009, so I doubt there's much left. Pembroke Road/Clifton Park.
The "Planning permission" wall was torn down a few years ago.

You can barely see it through the windows of the Google street view pics:

Visit BRISTOL ๐ฌ๐ง Street Art, Galleries, Events, by watcheruk on Jun 15, 2020 21:52:21 GMT 1, Visiting Bristol on Saturday, can anybody give me some information on original Banksy pieces still about?
Had a great day outย a few years back, following a similar post, saw the Hanging Man, Gorilla With a Mask, Thekla pieces, looking for some insider knowledge as to anything around?
Appreciate the Google, 'tourist' approach, but any information would be really appreciated.
ย ย
Worth looking on streetartcities app for Banksy. Using that I saw one rose trap.
There is one can over angel inside the Bristol museum and there is Banksy of his name at Barton Hill where Banksy start it off there. Worth going on John nation street art tour as good to listen...
I canโt put photo here as I canโt work this out!

Appreciate the input, planning a return trip in the future, so handy to know.
As to pictures, cant believe I am advising on this as the worlds worse on tech, but I use Imgur. You can upload from your computer, then just paste the URL from Imgur when you hit the 'Upload Image to Reply' tab.
If you have any pictures, would be great to see.

Visit BRISTOL ๐ฌ๐ง Street Art, Galleries, Events, by troika49 on Mar 1, 2023 21:15:36 GMT 1, Iโm going to the UK/London for the first time and only have a 10 day holiday there. Is it worth dragging my whole family to Bristol to stay one night to see Banksy murals?
is there anything much to see these days or has most of it been removed/covered in Perspex so itโs no longer worth it?
I understand the Bristol museum only has two pieces on display.

There is amazing work in Bristol. A visit along North St to see the Upfest pieces is a must. Start at Aldi and make your way to Dean Lane skatepark.
London the Falling Shopper is still there. Barbican pieces may still be there.

I recommend the Where the Wall Street art tour of Bristol and if you are lucky you might have the main man John Nation as your guide.
Bristol Museum has the Paint Pot Angel and M Shed the Thekla piece. Mild Mild West, Girl with a Pierced Eardrum, Hanging Lover and Rose Trap survive as far as I know.

Visit BRISTOL ๐ฌ๐ง Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Romulus on Mar 2, 2023 9:15:06 GMT 1, For any Banksy fan, I'd say it's 100% worth it. I feel like a proper tourist whenever I go to Bristol, and get excited seeing the pieces in the flesh. It also helps that it's a lovely city. The guy hanging from the window is probably worth the trip alone, imho, as it's wonderful. Mild Mild West was on display last time I was there, and at the museum (very close to the guy and the window) there was the paint pot angel and Monkey Parliament (no longer there???) in the foyer.
As for London, East London/Brick Lane is really good for street art in general. There are Banksys at Cargo, right next to a huge Stik (at his studio I think??).
I feel excited for you! Enjoy

Visit BRISTOL ๐ฌ๐ง Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Sheffield Street Art on Mar 2, 2023 13:52:54 GMT 1, Hate to say it but I would say probably not worth going to Bristol to be honest. I went to upfest last year which was second rate.
The Conor Harrington piece in the centre is really impressive but outside of that it's pretty much the usual suspects. I stayed near turbo corner, opposite Banksy's Mild Mild West piece which is showing its age now... that area has a lot of great streetart but it's pretty rough at night time
Stick with London, they'll be more than enough to keep you occupied

Visit BRISTOL ๐ฌ๐ง Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Neeky Ninja on Jul 26, 2023 13:06:48 GMT 1, I lived in Bristol for many years and squatted with many artists. I now live abroad but I still have friendships with many artists who have since had gallery exhibitions in Bristol and London, one artist in particular gave me a list of pieces they are trying to sell. I have access to a few exclusives direct from renowned Bristol artists. These are artists who are well respected within both the fine art scene and the urban art scene.
If you are interested in this sort of selection please feel free to message me. I am new to this website and fairly new to art dealing but I intend to move with discretion and keep things exclusive in the best interests of the artists and collectors.
