I must say that Bristol is like no other place when it comes to incredible street art, the place is littered with amazing pieces, Walker, Harrington, Stik, Jago, Arytz.....the list just go's on and on and I only really saw a very small area. I need to go back for a weekend, just me and a camera. It's hard taking pictures on a phone when your drunken mates are ribbing you. Fantastic city though, highly recommended.

And something from the archives.  This is the previous Feek/Soker collaboration that I remember from 2011, this time with FLX and Hemper too.

A few people have PMed to ask where to head in Bristol to check out the graffiti, so thought it'd be helpful to knock together a map for anyone thinking of heading through this way and it's online here.  The main orange route should take about two hours (depending on how long you're ogling the graffiti) and I've marked some of the artists you'd pass on route.  There's also a blue loop through the neighbourhood of St Werburghs for those who have a bit more time and all the Banksy pieces are marked in red.  There's also a few galleries and places to stop for a drink marked in green.

For me, one of the best things about checking out graffiti is getting into an abandoned warehouse or a quiet back alley and finding an unexpected gem but I know this isn't very practical for someone just coming through for the day, so I hope this is helpful.  Obviously it only covers a very little bit of the graffiti around town and people might want to check out North Street and Dame Emily Alice Park which are south of the river, but hopefully this is a start.

And something from the archives.  None of these pieces are actually in Bristol, but instead they're from abandoned places around the West Country and they're some of my favourite spots.  If anyone likes their art in more out of the way places then I would recommend 'Out of Sight' by romanywg.  There's some beautiful photos of work by, amongst others, Aryz, Sea and Boswell and here's another piece by Boswell in an equally discreet spot. All the doors and windows to this place have since been bricked up which will probably inadvertently preserve all the amazing pieces inside by the past and present members of the Souls on Fire crew like a time capsule:

Hey. No worries Feralthings!  I was quite "consumed by the Bud" myself the day I went there   but I found that 3rd Roa piece eventually!!! Chuff knows how but then again I was actually climbing into some buildings through the shrubbery sometimes without realising there was an open sodding doorway the other side?? I was on a bit of a mission that day though

And something from the archives.  One of the things I love about Bristol graffiti is just how collaborative a lot of the works is and that was never more true than with the Souls on Fire crew who originally consisted of Vermin, Rowdy and Boswell and later consisted of Boswell, Sez and Pen (who painted the amazing piece below).  Souls on Fire have since morphed into the Unwellcome Relatives crew and have been joined by Andy Council, CageOne and Shab (two of which painted the piece above) but the flow between different writers is still as tight as ever.

And something from the archives.  DAN produced some fantastic street pieces about social issues as diverse as street drinking and inappropriate development but I haven't seen anything new by him for several years until the gem above popped up during the week.  The piece below is a modern take on Alice In Wonderland from 2008; unfortunately, my photo doesn't capture the context very well but there's a better photo on the Wooster Collective website.

Feral just been catching up with the thread absolutely stunning work. Much appreciated great to see.
