which I think got painted over by the council but Banksy was back to reclaim his spot with another winner.
Thats how it should be done.

The old rule of graffiti is you can go over someones piece as long as you go over it with something better! In this case I think Dave could have done a better piece.

Totally agree, I've just read this thread from the start (it's been way too nice to sit in on the laptop this weekend) and can't understand why someone would go over such a good piece. There is so much sh!te out there that needs covering. The Mcity piece looked great and I wish I'd have had the chance to see it before it got covered.

I'm sure buswell is correct. First the standard Pulp Fiction and then the Banana Suits version.

Im sure it happened in this order, the first pulp fiction was bombed, the second pulp fiction in banana suits was removed and painted over by london underground.

So they have it wrong too.
I passed that pulp a coupleof times a week and was pretty gutted when they painted over it and then was well pleased when the new one went up. If i remember rightly banksy put something on his site about the history of it too.
Anyways, lets wait for prescription arts final judgement. He knows everything.
