I’m sure he could do you a bigger one if you wanted

Nice, a fairly decent size then. Maybe I’ll pick one up one of these days then—I have way too many extremely large prints and out of wall space.

It wouldn't be appropriate or fair to share my experience publicly, but if you are considering buying from this seller, please send me a DM.

If your buyer decides he doesn’t feel comfortable with the authenticity, He has every right to a refund. I used to do refunds without questions asked, whenever there was any issue, when I used to sell household stuff on ebay before. Just because I wanted to be a trusted and reputable seller. But after I started to sell art, someone tried to return me a forged copy, so I had to adopt a strict no-return policy. Even though it clearly takes away some assurance from the buyers.

Just save yourself and the buyer unnecessary headache and give him a refund. When it comes to authenticity PayPal and eBay will not want to wade into a technical matter like authenticating authorship. They will 100% side with the buyer in the circumstances, frankly I don’t blame him for having concerns. After what I’ve seen on this thread I think most buyers would be questioning the authenticity. I can also pretty much guarantee no one in their right mind will buy from you on here after all this regardless if the item you’re advertising is genuine or not. And FYI stating you won’t accept returns is irrelevant, statute and terms and conditions of PayPal and EBay will always trump the seller’s terms of sale.

I guess you are right, it is not the place for the sale of these. This thread will be taken down later.

The difference between here and ebay is that a sellers wares will generally be subject to far greater scrutiny by a far better informed marketplace.
If yiu dont think that there is any relevance to production of leaflets then you should take your sales thread down now as you will only get more comments today once Britain and Europe wakes up particularly after the last few posts on here.

vad77 online posted 5 hours ago No reply Dear Matt, Sorry, I was working night shift and was not able to reply right away. Since you have brought this up here, I have to put out all of the story. I have also added screenshots from our conversation on paypal. I have nothing to hide. You have purchased the print from me about 8 weeks ago, on 17 February, to be exact. I have provided you best service I could, prior and post sales and you was happy with everything. After I have advertised for sale these prints on this forum, someone started trolling, telling that for some reason my prints are not authentic. You told me that it made you concerned, even thought there was no valid argument for it, and asked me to if you can return it. As I have a strict no-return policy, obviously I had to refuse it. No-return terms was clearly stated in the listing description, it is mentioned on this forum and I am telling it to every buyer. I am providing every opportunity to view and inspect the art prior the sale. I offer personal viewing, I am providing as many pictures or even video as requested, but once I have posted the art or gave it away, I do not accept returns. Why do you expect it otherwise now, after nearly 2 months having it in your possession? I have provided all of the provenance and proof I promised and everything you asked. If you need anything else to confirm, I am still here. Whether it is enough to reassure you, you should have made a decision prior to sale. Not 2 months later. I have listed these prints here at 20% lower than anywhere else on the internet. And it is listed on several places. As much as I am aware, this is the best offer on the internet for this print in mint condition right now. I hoped I am making a good deal. Now I absolutely regretting about it. All I got is a baseless accusation by some trolls and your dispute. I guess I will take it down in a few days. Not taking it down already, just because I don't want it to look like I'm hiding. As with all of my buyers I was 100% honest and transparent with you regarding everything since the very beginning. I have never made a claim I can not confirm. I have never lied or tried to mislead you in any way. I was there to answer any of your questions and support you. I sold you the print at such a low price, you wouldn't find anywhere else. After all of this effort, please do not portrait me in a negative way. It would be not fair, since I have delivered on every promise. As I mentioned before on this forum, you can find me on Facebook, I am happy to meet in person and even at my house for sales. By no means I would be hiding, I am very open person and I am looking to get to know as many people personally as possible. Best regards

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by mattyg on Apr 8, 2020 7:58:36 GMT 1, It's a bit discourteous (and foolish) to post private communications on here. Ho hum.
Tbh, the overly-long, faux-transparent spiels above make you sound like other chancers I have read on here over the years.
I'm sorry, but you cannot brush off being in the business of leaflet production as irrelevant to sales of offset prints – especially multiple sales of the same print that you will not guarantee are authentic. Maybe rethink your take on that one?
To answer your question as to why I am wanting to return this print now: I don't believe the print you sold me is authentic, my communications with you have reinforced this and it is my right to return it to you for a full refund. You don't get to decide the length of PayPal's Buyer Protection policy.

It was supposed to be door-to-door delivery, not printing or production company. It was registered only half a year ago. It is dormant since formation and never operated. It was business I was about to start last year, but eventually never did.

At best, you have been disingenuous with me and others on this board. Worst case scenario would be that you are knowingly selling and 'distributing' fake prints.
What matters here is that I don't believe the print that you sold me is authentic. You have said you will not guarantee it is authentic. PayPal will enforce Buyers Protection... or you could do the right thing, accept my return and issue a full refund on receipt of the print.

After reading all of this and your numerous posts, really the best thing to do right now - refund and move on. It's not doing your already tarnished reputation any good whatsoever by dragging this out any further.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by mattyg on Apr 8, 2020 12:02:51 GMT 1, I have just escalated this matter to PayPal, so you will be contacted by them to resolve this. Regardless of what you have told me and others about this matter – privately or publicly – you are legally obliged to be truthful with PayPal. Good luck with that.
Please remember that I did try to resolve this with you discreetly Vadims, but you have ended up digging a bigger hole for yourself.
Please be aware that although you declined my return request on eBay, I have raised this matter separately with them so they have visibility on this, as you have potentially 'distributed' counterfeit prints to at least two other members of their platform – unknowingly or otherwise.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by irl1 on Apr 8, 2020 12:26:02 GMT 1, I have just escalated this matter to PayPal, so you will be contacted by them to resolve this. Make sure you claim the item is fake, not you think it's fake.
ebay have a rule when a buyer claims the item is fake you will be refunded.
You will not have to prove it's fake.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by Lunch Special on Apr 8, 2020 13:14:32 GMT 1, What’s to say the buyer did not receive an authentic print and is trying to return a fake? I personally would not consider a refund or a return after two months and I KNOW ALL THE HYPOCRITE ART CRITIC RESELLERS on this forum would not either. Imagine the nightmare of receiving something back after you carefully packaged, worried while in transit then sighed relief once it arrived safely to hear after two months you want to return it? Keep yo corona virus over there buddy and whatever else you was doing for two months with the art you bought to resell and it did t work out? GTFOHWTBS
Sheesh if slandering on forums was a crime you’d all be in art jail. Lol

They make there kids where fake Nike’s and adidas and cry about things they have no business with. and what was the other guy you all swore was Banksy? Some stupid elephant prints? How’d those work out for you all lol I have heard of forum members Going to insure there WCP fakes as banksys to increase there portfolios. Shameful mofos.
