Counterfeit currency and stamps policy
From 27th October we'll be extending our Counterfeit Currency and Stamps policy to include novelty banknotes.
Under section 18 (1) of the Forgery and Counterfeiting Act 1981, it is a criminal offence for any person to reproduce any British currency note or any part of the British currency note on any substance whatsoever, and whether or not to the correct scale, unless the relevant authority has previously consented in writing. Further, the Bank of England does not authorise any reproductions in the form of a novelty banknote. For additional details, please visit the Bank of England website.
Great way to stop all those dodgy tenners being bought for three figures! ;D Would still like one myself, but would be happy enough with a good quality copy as who knows which are real and whice are copies unless you bought it yourself

They are indeed the same tenners. They were also available for sale from stolen space and were also given out free when you were first in the line for the what wars are for print by dface back in the day.
