Depends on the edition, silver would be a good few hundred quid more than the grey. Newartonline currently have a grey for £1049, this is creased according to their website.

The difference between the two at the moment, based on all offers I got, is around 100£ (In favour of the silver)
Also the Grey sold much quicker than the Silver but that may not be indicative of much.

No I haven't but my friend has, framed. I've never noticed an true embossing - not like Space One, Home, Invasion or Aladdin. Of course there is a slight relief from the 3 colour screen. Can you take a macro shot at an angle of squares?
