Shepard Fairey and the Stop Kony campaign, by charlie on Mar 7, 2012 7:41:34 GMT 1, So I hadn't heard of Joseph Kony either until saw a link on Facebook to this today - about trying to capture Ugandan guerilla war leader and the International Criminal Court's #1 most wanted worldwide, Joseph Kony, after 25 years of him abducting over 30,000 children into child soldiers and girls into sex slaves.

This is the story of one man's fight to change it and it is truly inspirational. If you watch nothing else today online, watch this:

It has changed my view of what is possible. A global campaign to spread the word worldwide through social networks, street art, posters etc. Shepard Fairey has turned his hand to the campaign posters too:

"A lot of people feel powerless to communicate their ideas, they think that 'I'm not a cooperation, I don't own my own magazine, news station, I just don't have any say' but seeing as what I've done, I think it's empowered allot of people to realise that one individual can make an impact. I mean I actually want to demystify and say 'here are these really simple tools, go out...and rock it' - Shepard Fairey
