No one jump down my throat here, this is just my opinion. I was enjoying reading this thread and was chuffed for Cartrain to have recieved such a nice gift from Mr B himself, but to be honest it all went a little sour for me when i saw that Cartrain had informed the press of his good fortune.
Can't really put my finger on it but it kinda goes against the grain to even think of grabbing a little bit of publicity that way!!??
I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for gift number 3, that was a private gesture between Banksy and yourself which I bet he would have respected you to keep that way!

Its not quite the press. Its my Local newspaper Not the sun or the daily mail. If i wanted this publicised in the national papers it wouldn't be that hard. Why hate on Waltham forest?

actually joe, I met him before he was "famous" and know people who knew him in bristol who confirmed his name when it was less of a closely guarded secret and the daily mail article definately was correct about the picture of him being him, based on my meeting him at a graff jam where I saw him spraying a stencil, I would therefore say the naming of him in the newspaper was correct in getting their guy. So in actual fact I think you'll find I do.
