Is it Gick'lee' ..or Gice'lee.....I wanna know as I asked a mate and he didn't know.......? It's pronounced zhee-clay

the latest baldwin print has actually sold out. if you try and buy the print it tells you it is out of stock. they just haven't updated that part of the site. although as big a baldwin fan as i am , i just dont get that particular print.

this is a strange situation.. although it 'only' reached 1250 the seller would still have made a decent ยฃ550 profit
..it seems that as the neate demand has cooled (except for the portraits/tryptich/ deepend) people are still hoping to make the same amounts as a month or so ago..
I would have snapped that up if the reserve wasn't there

Agreed, those prices I don't think are "cheap." Cool print but the seller should be happy to make ยฃ550 profit on doing nothing basically but reselling someone else's art. He's"lucky" to put a reserve on it or greedy? I think this "cooling off" period in prices is going to start shocking a lot of people when they need to buy that new car or whatver they were banking on.
The rampant amount of greed in this "street art culture" amazes me sometimes just as much as the amount of money people in this scene are ready and willing to plop down for a piece of paper with ink on it. Some serious disconnect going on between the scenes "core values" and it's particpants here. Spiraling out of control. I would expect it's demise pretty soon.
