I see no other street artists branching out this way into taking a swipe at consumerism. Look at the size of the wall - why are there not lots of children working at machines? Work on a bigger scale than a single stencil hurriedly sprayed on a wall, more concerned about protecting anonymity.
errr...maybe because he is a street artist and he didnt want to apply to the council for planning permission to be able to paint on a wall like many other of the 'street artists' now.

I'm guessing the stencil is cut from a photo of a child he knows posing that way but pure speculation on my part. Nice shots all, thank you and those are some rather dull walls inviting a nice makeover. For my eyes it works much better shot wide angle getting Poundland in the frame like the one a few posts above but I dig the detailed ones too.

Hopefully POW will just price them like Other Criteria does with Hirst. Price goes up as it sells. Start at say 2k or whatever is the true market value.

PLEASE somebody go down there and paint a big white mug around it, so it looks like one of those knock-off mugs on feeBay. I'd do it myself, but I'm miles from London. And I have a fear of being arrested.
