My all time favourite hirst is tetrahydrocannabinol which is a huge 2m x 1m work.
There is Methamphetamine also but itโs orientation makes it awkward to display

It's an inkjet print on glossy paper. Just be sure that is what you are really after. And definitely know your seller and get provenance.

Another great point. For me, woodcuts will always be the best expression of spot prints outside of hand painted ones.

Iโd agree with that 100% Woodcuts really do look a class apart when you see them side by side. Pretty sure you can pick up a very decent sized woodcut for $22_25k - Iโd certainly take a look before parting with my cashโฆ.. |

It's definitely not an edition #, as all are notated on the reverse side of the sheet. If you haven't already reached out to the original publisher, I would do so asap. I believe it was either Paragon Press or Manifold Editions... both London based.

Dolittler - if Paragon will attest that it is legit, then that is probably all you need, assuming the /55 on the back and everything else checks out. I will say, I have seen hundreds of these woodcuts (and own a fair few) and never seen this number. I would have assumed that Damien signed all of the Fenbufen in one go, given small edition size, so we would have seen it elsewhere.
If it becomes a distraction, I suspect a nice clean eraser can easily solve the problem.

You and I think alike - I also went to a couple version I have of the Sigma catalogue to figure it out (as you can see from my images above, I'm in to molecular models).
