Anybody know how much her pricing has increased from source? I know there was discussion of a planned increase following last year's MTV auction.

wowa. Last year you could buy a decent sized canvas for that!
F**** should have bought. It was one of my goals for 2012 to get one of her canvases. Now it is priced well outside my means.

Think you can still get a canvas at that price, depending where you look. Really doubt the auction result posted earlier is actually representative for her current market value.
Had her on my list for 2012 as well but did not manage to raise the funds for both this and the Herakut OG I always wanted. Thought the POW release would be a nice replacement but with these prices probably not...

Katrin Fridriks 🇮🇸 Reykjavík, Iceland • Abstract Art , by sal on Oct 5, 2012 19:42:38 GMT 1, I was also having big hopes about this release, but if these are the prices, I dont think its gonna be hard getting one, as much as actually getting yourself to pay for it... Im just not a fan of having very valuable prints that are super sensitive, super fragile, and a tiny handling mistake can cost you 100s..
on the other hand, I do not think that this price is crazy or strange, especially knowing the primary prices of her work.. Kaws is selling his prints @ $1,700, and has no problems selling out.. by pricing releases that high, artists and galleries take away the middle man aka flipper, and set the secondary market really close to primary.. that way, they stay in charge of the whole game... with art collecting being so popular, I think the days of buying a print, and selling it for 5x more after one week, are gone..

Ed @ Future Tense has some lovely pieces on paper (£2,500) that look like a good buy (relative to the prices being quoted on this thread):

Not sure if these are still available...the website pieces and editions page has not been updated for about 1 1/2 years! But definitely worth touching base with Ed...great guy to deal with.

I was told by breezeblock that this SOLD on pre-sale? I guess the buyer had a change of heart when seeing it was only 10" square...In 2008 you could have had x9 the surface area for the same price (32"x32").

Looks stunning (both colours) but I do have a preference once released!
They both look fantastic and I'm sure a load of work went into getting them right. Nicely framed up these will look great.
Good luck to those who want to get one. I doubt we will be disappointed. ;D

Just thinking these will need framing with spacers as I won't want it touching / sticking to the glass!
