I'd take it home, at least this way you can prove the damage - it could very easily get lost on it's way back to NY and then it will be your word "against" his, so to speak.

That's wrong you take it then contact the sender in this case espo then either he compensates VIA a new print or refund and he then can claim for damage in the original item if sent insured delivery.

Be sure to shoot the whole unopened package as well before looking at the print. These are pics that can help the artist/gallery get their claim from the shipper, plus then you have evidence in your hands as well.

& the longer it's at the mercy of UPS the more likely that there will be damage.
I hope his printer doesn't need to run off extras....?
Steve has been a real gent throughout, sorting lots of people who thought they'd missed out and I do hope his generosity at sending out extra AP's etc doesn't end up biting him on the ass.

He has extras in case of such instances and will send the replacement in a tube. He told me to rip it up and mail it back to him. And I guess he'll just renumber/sign a blank print as my replacement.
